Soluna Forte Sea Living Suites

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Soluna Forte and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. The service was exceptional, the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and everything was beautifully maintained. We especially loved our room, it was beautiful, peaceful and the bed was extremely comfortable. A special mention to Marie, who was absolutely lovely and always available whenever we needed anything. Her kindness and attentiveness really made a difference and made us feel at home. The resort itself is a beautiful and relaxing place, and we truly enjoyed every moment of our stay.

The only things I found a little less convenient were, first, the lack of any food or dining options within the resort. We were aware of this before our stay, so it was not a surprise, but having even a small selection of simple dishes, snacks or something available in the evening would have been a lovely addition. It would make the experience even more convenient for guests who simply want to stay and enjoy the resort without having to go elsewhere for food. The other point is the beach. One of the reasons we chose the resort was the possibility of being close to the sea, so we had imagined having easy access to a beach where we could comfortably spend some time. In reality, the area by the sea consists mainly of rocks rather than a traditional beach, so it is not really possible to lie down and relax there comfortably. In reality, the access is a little more complicated than we initially expected. This is definitely something I think could be made clearer in the description, simply so that guests know what to expect. Separately, as we did not have a car, getting around by taxi was not always the easiest. Because of the way the main road is laid out, with traffic going in opposite directions on separate sides, reaching certain places could sometimes require a longer route than expected. That being said, these are really just points of convenience and did not take away from our overall experience. We had a wonderful stay, loved the resort and felt very well taken care of throughout. The beautiful surroundings, comfortable rooms and exceptional hospitality more than made up for these small inconveniences, and we would absolutely be happy to return!

Bili smo 7 dana u ovom jednom rečju savršenom objektu. Prvo i osnovno je da imate auto, posle toga sve je lako. Objekat je nov, čist, uredan sabpedantno izabranim nameštajem i celokupnom opremom a najvažnije od svega pedantno održavan. Bazen sa veličanstvenim pogledom u pučinu i terasa za sunčanje sa kompletnim mobilijarom pružaju i više od onoga što može neko da očekuje gledajući samo slike. Ali…..pravi dragulj se nalazi skriven na 220 stepenika niz padinu: stenovita obala (nije plaža jer se ulazi u more sa stena) skrivena od talasa i vetra. Tabla pored bazena poručuje da je silazak na sopstveni rizik a mi smo taj rizik preuzeli već prvog dana koji se odmah isplatio. Sedmog dana se već osećate kao superman. Ono more koje vas dočekuje dole tera vas da zaboravite svaki stepenik. Apsolutno preporučujem svima koji traže perfektan smeštaj uz sve gore navedeno što ga prati a da bude izolovan od gužvi i buke.

Prachtige locatie en accommodatie! Mooi uitzicht over de zee en Heraklion! Alles was nog heel nieuw en in een hedendaagse stijl. De kamer was mooi en rustgevend ingericht met een aangename douchekamer en een praktische keuken.

De accommodatie ligt net naast de autostrade. Als je aan het zwembad ligt hoor je dit. De autostrade was vernieuwd en voor de accommodie staan er nu paaltjes. Je moet steeds naar rechts rijden. Reken dus 10 minuten extra als je naar een supermarkt of Heraklion wilt rijden want je kan de baan niet zomaar oversteken. Je hebt hier zeker een auto nodig. In de buurt is er niets om te voet te doen of te zien. De accommodatie heeft een stijle ingang naar beneden en ook parkeren moet je doen op een stijle helling. Neem best geen geschakelde auto voor in deze omgeving rond te rijden/te parkeren. De accommodatie is nog niet helemaal klaar. Tijdens ons verblijf was er èèn dag werken aan een nieuwe pergola aan het zwembad. Ook kwamen ze op dezelfde dag een verstopping in de leidingen oplossen. Dit maakte te veel lawaai waardoor wij de auto genomen hadden naar het dichtbijzijnde strand.
