Gemütliches Walliser Chalet Nahe Aletschgebiet

Stunning location in Goms Valley. The Rhone River flows past the home and was wonderful to listen to at night. Great location with so many villages to explore and hikes to do. We enjoyed running on the Rottenweg path one morning where cows heading to a meadow passed us. Beds and rooms very comfortable. The bathroom great. Loves the balcony around the home. The Karin and her family have a working farm and the food from their little shop was excellent. Karin was very responsive and provided incredible accommodations. We were only there one night but wished we could be there for a week. The valley at this time of year was very quiet. Very little tourist traffic, which did make things a little challenging when looking for restaurants outside the more expensive hotel restaurants. Nonetheless, a superb location where meadows filled with wildflowers abound and high mountain peaks dominant the horizon. Very much an idyllic place to stay. Swiss Bliss all around.
