This is absolutely one of the best homestay experiences I have ever had! I felt welcomed from the very moment I stepped in till my departure with a traditional send off. The host family is very nice and it was really like staying at home like a family member. I got to enjoy the traditional Assamese food for dinner as well as some home made sweets. I was also suggested the itinerary to maximize my time in Tezpur and some excursions outside of the city which was very helpful in planning my onward journey. The home is in a quiet setting and view of the open fields from the rooftop is very refreshing. I was also helped with wrapping some of the stuff that I had purchased on the trip to prepare it for the check in. I left earlier today and am already missing my hosts.
