2 Bedroom Flat in Wallsend

The flat was very clean, the beds and sofa were super comfortable. Great location for the Metro to get to the beach at Tynemouth or Whitley Bay and with Aldi only a few minutes walk away. For the money, this flat is exceptional.

As with some other reviews, the smell of neighbours smoking weed was very strong in the evenings. We coped with it and got some extra snacks in!

Beautiful little place , clean light and airy , beautifully decorated

The flat was perfect for a month stay, the bed was very comfortable. The area was nice and close to lots of shops. I really enjoyed my stay there and would definitely come back for my next stay.

Nothing about the house but more about the neighbours, they were smokers and the smell of it would sometimes filter to the flat.

I have to say, this flat was pretty average. The code was not given to us prior to the check in time, we had to actively request it. It was then sent and it was easy to get in. The heating had not been put on and the flat was at 13 degrees when we arrived; it took around 2 hours for it to warm up. There was no bread board or tea towel in the kitchen, we had to use a plate for chopping things, and a bathroom towel for drying dishes. The crockery and cutlery were both wet and dirty when we arrived. There was no welcome information or instructions on e.g. how to work the heating controls (we worked it out). It was good to have a private garage for the car, but it is not for a 'medium-sized car' as we were informed - I have a Golf and it had about an inch at the front and back once the garage doors were closed, and an inch either side for getting the wing mirrors in. A small car would be ok. Some positives - the rest of the flat was clean enough, the beds were comfortable and the shower was fine. With a bit of effort and money, the host could very easily make significant improvements to this place.
