Sokwayah Jungle Villas & Retreat

We had a truly unforgettable stay at Sokwayah Jungle Villas! The villa itself is beautiful, clean, and offers the perfect, serene jungle vibe while still being close to everything Ubud has to offer. What really made our stay special, though, was the incredible team. Putu and the staff were exceptionally warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout our entire stay. Their positive energy and amazing hospitality made us feel right at home from the very first moment. If you are looking for a magical jungle getaway with top-notch service, look no further. We cannot wait to come back to this little paradise! Thank you for everything!

I liked the staff, the pool, the location, and the upstairs sitting area.

Nichts. Jeder Gast, der etwas zu bemängeln hat, hat nicht verdient in dieser Unterkunft übernachten zu dürfen.

The only positive aspect of our stay was Putu, who genuinely tried to help resolve the issues we raised. He was professional, attentive, and even offered us a complimentary spa treatment as a gesture of goodwill. While we appreciated his effort, we chose not to accept the offer because we believe it is important to provide an honest review of our overall experience. Unfortunately, despite Putu’s excellent customer service, the overall stay was disappointing and did not meet our expectations. We would not choose to stay here again.

We were very disappointed with our stay at Sokwayah Jungle. The property looks beautiful in photos, but unfortunately the actual experience was far below expectations. There were several major issues during our stay: 1. The swimming pool water was noticeably cloudy and did not appear clean. 2. There was a persistent sewage smell coming from the drainage system, which made it difficult to fully relax and enjoy the villa. 3. The shuttle service was unreliable and often not available on time, causing unnecessary inconvenience. 4. Overall maintenance and guest experience did not meet the standard we expected for this price point.
