    We paid in advsnce, but on arrival the chap at reception turned us away. It took a lot of arguing and convincing that we even had a reservation, and despite using phrase books and google translate and AI vpice translations, he either did not or wpuld not understand us. It felt like he just didnt listen or take notice. After almost walking away to find somewhere else, he finally showed us to a room woth one bed but it was not what I had booked. He then showed us to another room which had two beds and that wpuld just have to do. The room was in some disrepair, the AC did not blow cold, and the bathroom was grubby and the shower did not work. The location is a way out of town and even though it is a cheaper hotel, it was not worth the cost in my opinion. The reveptionist then came to the room and accused us of not paying and despite showing hom receipts in Khmer and English he just didnt seem to understand. It was an odd, and stressful situation. It very much felt like he did not want us there. Honestly, I would not recommend this place to other travellers.
