The host, Avery, was kind and quick to respond to my messages. The condo itself is cozy and stylishly decorated. I did not know that this condo was on the 3rd floor nor that there was no elevator. I brought this up with Avery who pointed out that I should make a point in the future to read the Accessibility section. I later looked and it says "Wheelchair inaccessible". I now know to follow up with the owner when I see that, because my 80 year old parents had a very difficult time going up and down three flights of stairs. The stairwell within the building reeked of cigarettes. There were multiple carpet dryers in the entrance due to a flooding issue and there is an exterior hallway to reach the 3rd floor condo. While the condo itself was nice - there were several significant issues with the building.
