About this house rental
Wake to sweeping views over the St Andrews Beach Golf Course, with the rugged beauty of Cape Schanck and Arthurs Seat in the distance. Duneside Shores at St Andrews is perfectly positioned for days on the fairways, salty strolls along the back beach, and exploring the Mornington Peninsula’s wineries, hot springs, and coastal trails.
The home is set over two levels, with the ground floor featuring the meals area, a well-equipped kitchen with coffee machine, air fryer, dishwasher, microwave, oven and hob, a central wood fire, Ducted heating and cooling, two queen bedrooms, a family bathroom with bath, powder room, and laundry. Step outside to a covered alfresco area, ideal for summer BBQs or relaxed evenings after a day of exploring.
Upstairs, you’ll find the master suite with a king bed, walk-in robe, ensuite, and a covered balcony with outdoor couches where you can enjoy the views. This level also features the main living area with comfy couches and a smart TV, making it a cosy spot to relax indoors.
There is space for three cars in the driveway, secured behind a gate. The garage is not available for guest use.

Pros: Location was great, easy walk to the beach. Very quiet and peaceful. There’s a great cafe within walking distance, but you will definitely need a car to get to the shops. Lovely views from second storey. Large and comfortable living area upstairs. Beautiful main bedrooom and ensuite. Air conditioner was very effective, even with large glass area upstairs. Laundry facilities were good (BYO detergent). All beds very comfortable. Coffee machine was good. Pet friendly, which enabled us to bring our cavoodle along, however be advised dogs are not allowed at St Andrew’s Beach as it is a national park.Cons: Property would benefit from thorough clean, particularly windows, floors, upstairs toilet, spiderwebs. Upstairs is very spacious, but dining area downstairs is a bit tight. The 2 downstairs bedrooms are quite small, one had no wardrobe or anywhere to hang clothes. Property may be more suited to families with young children rather than 6 adults. Kitchen equipment was a little limited. It would have been nice to have been provided with more than a single tea towel and a single kitchen bin liner for a 4-night stay. BYO fly spray as doors do not have fly screens.
