    The best thing about Hari Dhara is its location—it's very close to the ghat. The food is excellent, the staff are warm and helpful, and the owner is genuinely courteous. Their hospitality is the reason I would consider staying here again. However, reaching the hotel is a hassle. Cars don't reach the property and have to be parked around 3 km away. Even after taking a rickshaw, you'll still need to walk about 1 km with your luggage through the crowded market. The hotel is also not easy to find, especially at night, and it's quite easy to miss the narrow lane if you're a first-time visitor. Great for the location and hospitality, but not for convenience. I wouldn't recommend it if you're travelling with elderly people or heavy luggage. If you know what to expect, it's a good stay.

    Hotel Hari Dhara is for those who wish to visit Haridwar for religious purposes. Located bang in the middle of the main market, you can walk 10 feet and rech the ghat. This is the biggest advantage of this hotel. Har ki Paudi is about 500 mts from this hotel so that, again, is a huge plus. Definitely recommended for budget travellers. However, do not expect any luxury or even food at this hotel. Food has to be bought from outside. Staff is very helpful so no worries there but be aware if you plan to book your taxi from the front desk. We were practically looted for this. 4/5.

    Location of the hotel is very bad. Only way to go there by walk minimum 1 km. If you have big luggage then .....
