Escape to this charming lakefront Muskoka retreat. This 2-bedroom cottage with a cozy bunkie sleeps up to 6 and features a full kitchen, outdoor sauna, and stunning lake views. Enjoy the fire pit, spacious deck, and water fun with included water toys. Relax, unwind, and make memories at this peaceful, family-friendly getaway just steps from the water.
This three season family cottage is located directly on Loon lake with access to Turtle lake in the town of Gravenhurst. Enjoy all Muskoka has to offer. Outside you fill find a full dining area, seating area on the deck, additional seating around a fire pit, and seating on the water front private dock. Guests have full access to water toys including three adult kayaks, a three person canoe, a paddle board, and a children's kayak.
Loon Lake is peaceful and ideal for canoeing, paddling, and quiet nature escapes - great for both families and couples alike.
WHAT'S INCLUDED:

- 2x bath towels and hand towels per bedroom (6 in total)

WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED:
-There is a boat docked on our deck, access to the boat is prohibited.
-Guests must remove garbage at the end of their stay.
-Recycling may be left on site in blue bags that are provided. Please leave these at the end of the driveway upon your departure.
WHO'S IT FOR?
Designed w/ families in mind, but also a great spot for small groups (2 couples) or even 2 small families (max 6 guests). Loon Lake is a quiet lake great for canoeing and exploring.
EXTERIOR:
There is plenty of parking available on site. There is a bridge that connects directly to the house. This is a single floor cottage and there are stairs leading from the back down to the lake, bunk, sauna, and fire pit area.
MAINFLOOR:
Once you enter you'll be drawn towards the lake. The open concept kitchen leads to the dining & living rooms, with direct access to the waterfront deck and BBQ. On the deck there's a dining table w/ 6 chairs. There are three couches on the main deck. The main BBQ area includes a Weber propane BBQ and wood smoker.
KITCHEN:
Fully stocked kitchen with everything you'll need to prepare meals. Cooking essentials (oil, s&p, and spices), coffee (single serve Keurig machine), basic cleaning supplies. Please note there is NO DISHWASHER on site. Our water is directly sourced from the lake and triple filtered, it is safe for washing and food preparation, however we recommend to use the water dispenser for drinking.
DINING:
Beside the kitchen is the dining table w/ ample seating. Bench seating is perfect for small kids and a highchair is available on site. On the deck there is another outdoor dining table.
LIVING ROOM:
Open living room with beautiful wooden ceilings. There is an air-conditioning unit located in the living room. The sofa turns into a double bed. Indoor fireplace is available but we recommend to close the screen with an active fire. TV access is provided with access to IPTV, however, we rely on cellular wifi and signal quality may be poor at times.
BEDROOM (bedroom 1):
Queen bed with lake views, this bedroom is easily located on the main floor and nestled beside the full main floor bathroom. This bedroom has a integrated fan light for cooling.
BEDROOM (bedroom 2):
Two single beds with forrest views. This bedroom has an integrated fan light for cooling.
BATHROOM:
Full bathroom & shower/bathtub.
BUNKIE BEDROOM (bedroom 3 in pics):
Fun bedroom for kids featuring a single bed. Large ceiling fan to cool down. Two windows. The bunk is located lake front and not attached to the main house. A wifi LG stereo for playing music is also included.
UPSTAIRS BATHROOM:
Full bathroom & shower, with an awning window in the bathroom w/ private forest views. Bathroom is shared for bedrooms 1 & 3 upstairs.
CHILDREN AMENITIES:
- one High Chair and two booster seats
- one Playpen (please bring own sheets)
- one kayak
- plates, bowls and cups
!!Important — Boat Access Is Strictly Prohibited!!
There is a private boat docked on the deck.
Guests are NOT permitted to board, use, or access the boat under any circumstances.
You are welcome to bring your own boat and dock it on the other side.
