Het huis ligt gunstig als uitvalsbasis voor wandelingen en fietstochten. Zitkamer en slaapkamers zijn ruim en comfortabel.
Het huis is met de auto niet te bereiken, vanaf de parkeerplaats is het minimaal 125 m wandelen( vooral onpraktisch bij in en uitladen). De tuin heeft achterstallig onderhoud. De keuken is dusdanig klein en gedateerd dat het met 2 personen al moeizaam is, een fatsoenlijke zitplaats voor het ontbijt is niet aanwezig. De badkamer is ook klein en gedateerd. De douchekop viel voortdurend uit de houder (een te zware kop) Nergens in het huis hingen gordijnen. Op 1 slaapkamer was het raam recht tegenover de ingang van het huis er tegenover.
