The unit was very comfortable and did have a view of the sea. It was fairly well-equipped and secure with off street parking. The inside braai/fireplace was appreciated with the inclement weather experienced while we were there. The small touches like cookies and rusks and basic supplies were appreciated. The owner came to greet us when we arrived and was available for any queries we had.

The images gave the impression that the unit was right next to the sea - it was a few streets away, but was elevated over the owner's dwelling, so still a good sea view. There are a few things that could improve the experience: - a small table and chairs in the kitchen area to sit down for a meal - the shower drain needs attention as the water was pooling instead of draining away - a braai grid would be a useful addition or mention that you need to bring your own - the Nespresso coffee machine and capsules were a bonus but the coffee machine did not work. There was no water from 10pm at night to the following morning when we were leaving but that was a municipal problem after the storm, so no fault of the owners and they did allow us to check out later, so that we could shower, etc. once the water came on again.

The location of the apartment was central, close to shops and the beach. The host was very friendly and even offered us more wood. The apartment was very cozy; my kids loved it. Will definitely book again.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Everything was spotless, beautifully presented, and exactly as described. The rusks, cookies, and other thoughtful treats were such a lovely touch and made us feel very welcome. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped with everything we needed. The accommodation was beautiful, comfortable, and we couldn’t have asked for more. We highly recommend staying here and would definitely love to return. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality!
