Casita de Pueblo

We had a very nice family holiday at this property. The host Esther lives a couple doors down and was very helpful to us with local information and any other questions or requests we had. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms there was plenty of space. The garden is self-contained so the kids can play freely. There is a patio area at the back and the kitchen roof also serves as a terrace so you can move easily between the first floor and garden if you want to. The property does not have wifi and we planned to have a few days without internet, but there was good signal for data roaming when we needed it. Parking is on-street, we did not have any issues finding a spot close to the house. Alfarnate is a 20-30 min drive from the major road network and we made day trips to Cordoba, Granada and Ronda. Closer to Alfarnate is the town of Antequerra with its archaeological dolmans, there are the flamingos at Laguna de Fuente de Piedra and we went hiking in the Torcal natural park as well. This is a good base for exploring Andalucia, and nice and quite for relaxing afterwards.
