Such a cosy house, we loved it there. Very clean and the kitchen is super nice to cook in and supplied with all the necessary utensils (even scales which are a very rare find). The complementary bread and brownie bites were a very nice touch. The double beds were super cosy. The fact that there's a washing machine and a washing line outside was a big plus after over a week of travelling. We used the place as a base to see Brimham Rocks and the Himalayan garden and sculpture park which are both amazing experiences. The way to the place is easy with navigation and there are many places nearby that are worth visiting, obviously Ripon but also Masham and there are some nice places for children like the ice cream farm place nearby. Plus the gorgeous views and the wildlife you're surrounded by. We'd love to go back.

The internet was kind of non-existent for 2 of the 3 evenings we were there most probably because of the bad weather and how remote the place is but this is not necessarily a bad thing as you can just chat away and enjoy your time like it used to be :)

Amazing location, beautiful views and some lovely walks from the house. Nice comfy bed and a well equipped kitchen. Bathroom was nice and spacious.

WiFi connection was poor. We struggled to watch basic streaming services which made evenings disappointing when we planned to watch a film.

It is a beautiful property set in a glorious, peaceful and relaxing location. The property itself is clean and well-organised with everything you would require for a comfortable stay. It is also in a great location to be able to tour the local area giving easy access to local sites of historic interest and towns.

The property is set in a very rural location. If you don't have your own transport I would think it's virtually impossible to get to and from.
