Peaceful Peron - outdoor pool, close to beach

Peaceful Peron is a lovely property with a lot going for it, and there were many aspects of our stay that we enjoyed. Unfortunately, several maintenance issues significantly affected our overall experience. The tap in the second bathroom could not be turned off, leaving a constant stream of water which was disruptive enough to keep people awake. The toilet seat was extremely loose, the exhaust fan didn’t work, and the left sliding door in the main bedroom was unsecured at the bottom, causing it to swing and bang. We also experienced noisy pipes, and the bins were already full when we arrived, leaving very little room for our rubbish. We reported the issues at the end of our stay and provided videos. Management acknowledged that the maintenance concerns should ideally have been identified before our arrival but declined to offer any form of goodwill gesture because we hadn’t reported them earlier. As we checked in on a Friday afternoon for a short weekend stay, we didn’t want to spend our limited time dealing with repairs and had assumed such obvious issues would already be known. Given the premium price, we expected the property to have been thoroughly checked and presented in good working order before our arrival. We had initially hoped to return during summer, but both the maintenance issues and the way our concerns were handled have unfortunately changed our minds.
