Channa Hotel and Rest Labookellie

This is a great hotel with a spectacular (!) View. The owner and his family and staff were friendly and attentive and even took care of our tuktuk. The room is very spacious and since there is a restaurant and a store right upstairs, we were always provided with everything we needed.

You can't really close the room due to how it's build, so expect mosquitos. Also we were woken up to the sound of a very load lawn mower right next to our window in the morning, but apart from that we were very satisfied.

This property is outstanding value for money! We had no idea the room we booked would have such a magnificent view and huge wraparound windows! The vibe of the place is amazing and this is the best hot water shower we’ve had in Sri Lanka. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, there is parking and also a store upstairs so convenient. We had the rice and curry for dinner and it was excellent and huge! Very convenient access to Bluefield Tea. The room and the bed were absolutely enormous and so lovely and cosy. Also had a desk to work and drink on arrival!!
