We had a mixed experience with this booking. We reserved and paid for the apartment in the morning, but later that same day, the host contacted us and asked us to cancel the reservation. They explained that the apartment had already been booked a few minutes before, but it was still showing as available, which allowed us to book it. Instead of contacting Booking support to resolve the issue, we were asked to cancel the reservation ourselves. This situation was quite stressful for us, especially since we were traveling with our children and it was right around Easter, making it very difficult to find another place on such short notice. While we appreciate that the host communicated with us, the way the situation was handled created unnecessary inconvenience.
