One Coastguard Road Cottage

An excellent location right by the beach, and a very comfortable property. The kitchen is very well equipped. It has a lovely master bedroom, with a very comfortable bed and a great view. We felt fortunate to have a choice of outdoor sitting areas, too. We only used the one bedroom, but the other two looked very nice.

It should be noted on this site that the only bathroom is on the ground floor, so not next to the bedrooms. Maybe we have been very spoiled elsewhere, but we were surprised that there were only a very few teabags and coffee pods, no milk, kitchen towel, cooking oil or shampoo. The bath towels are on the small size. 10am is quite an early check-out in our experience. It's usually 11am. It was the first time in many years of travelling that we have been asked to put up a deposit against damage. But maybe that's the way things are going.

Location was fantastic - direct access to the dog friendly beach from the back gate. Also fully enclosed front and back gardens, perfect for the dog. Amazing sea views from every bedroom. Spotlessly clean property.

Road up to the parking spaces was a bit narrow and exposed drain which we had to drive over carefully but worth it for parking right at property.
