Barastula House

We had a nice stay and enjoyed the days. Everything good, expect the shower, it could be renewed in general.

This was our perfect villa and location. It is tucked away in the quiet Sardinian countryside but is easily accessible by car and is not remote. The nearest town Oresei is not too far and the closest beach is a 7 minute drive. The Villa had everything we needed including a lovely outside covered terrace and inside and outside shower options. Although it was very hot during our stay (36 to 40 degrees), the air-con unit kept the inside comfortable during the night. There is good WiFi provided. The host Pasquina was very friendly and although didn't speak English we managed fine with our limited Italian - after some help from ChatGPT! It's worth noting that the Villa does include another apartment for two people, but all the inside and outside facilities are entirely separate and we were never disturbed by other guests during our stay (there are two listing photos of a covered stone table that are confusingly included in this listing but which belong to the other apartment). The only small negative on our stay was the limited cutlery and some glasses and plates - it meant we had to washup by hand or run the dishwasher half empty. Overall we loved our stay and have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation; we would definitely return!
