Welcome to Borgovico 42, a charming two-room flat located close to the historic centre of Como, perfect for those looking for modern and original accommodation. This recently renovated flat is spread over two floors.

Upon entering, you will be greeted by a bright, modern kitchen, furnished with light matt panels that give it a clean, contemporary look. The kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary appliances, including a practical dishwasher. The large window in the kitchen illuminates the room beautifully, giving it a feeling of spaciousness and warmth.

In the open-plan room you will also find the living room, characterised by yellow walls that create a cosy and lively atmosphere. Here, you will find a comfortable sofa bed (Please note: the sofa bed is not prepared for your arrival, as we think it is only fair that you use the sofa during non-sleeping hours. You will find sheets, pillows and blankets in the cupboard/shelf closest to the sofa) offers a perfect solution for accommodating additional guests, while a large dining table can seat up to six people, ideal for convivial dinners and sharing moments. The living room is a perfect place to relax after a day exploring the beauty of Como.

Elegant wooden stairs lead to the loft, where the master bedroom is located. This space is equipped with a comfortable double bed. Next to the bed, a spacious wardrobe with opaque glass doors and a practical tall chest of drawers provide ample storage space for your personal belongings. The wooden roof with exposed beams adds a cosy, rustic touch to the room. In addition, a practical bookcase area has been created under the bed, perfect for your books and decorative items.

The flat's bathroom is functional, equipped with a toilet, a comfortable shower and a washing machine.

Quality bed linen, towels and toiletries are provided.

We also leave a gift basket with the necessities for your breakfast.

Free Wi-Fi is available and air conditioning.

All commercial activity is forbidden inside the flat.

From BORGOVICO 42 you can walk to the historic centre of Como in just 10 minutes and stroll through its cobbled streets, shops, bars and restaurants, churches and pretty squares. In 15 minutes you can reach: Porta Torre, one of the historic entrances to the walled city; Piazza San Fedele, a pretty little square with the Romanesque basilica of the same name; Via Vittorio Emanuele, one of the most famous streets for shopping; Piazza Volta, very lively for aperitifs and after-dinner al fresco dining all year round; the famous Piazza Duomo, with its marvellous cathedral and its Broletto, both worth visiting.

A 10-minute walk will take you to Piazza Cavour, Como's largest square, in front of which you can take the Navigazione Lago di Como boat to the most famous places on the lake (Cernobbio, Blevio, Torno, Laglio, Argegno, Menaggio, Bellagio, Varenna).

Also on foot, or by renting city bikes, you can reach Villa Olmo and its park, taking the picturesque walk from the Hangar, and Villa Geno along the lakeside promenade of Viale Geno. At the beginning of Viale Geno there is also the Funicular railway station to reach Brunate and its lighthouse, where you can stop for lunch in one of the many restaurants, or continue with a panoramic trek towards the Lario mountains, with a break in one of the mountain huts you will encounter along the way.

Within a few minutes' walk there are bars, Italian restaurants, sushi restaurants, car and motorbike rental services.

By car, from the A9 motorway take the Como Nord exit and set your GPS: in 10 minutes you will reach the flat.

By train, get off at Como S. Giovanni station and in just 10 minutes you will reach the flat on foot. Or from Como S. Giovanni station take the bus C10 direction "Como S. Rocchetto" for 2 stops and get off at "Como, lungolario trento", from there in 1 minute you will be at the flat.
