Explore the best of DownEast Maine with nearby hiking, cycling, kayaking, wildlife watching, and boat tours. Located just a short walk to the water, the inn is bordered on three sides by the Skillings River and Frenchman Bay—with all roads on Hancock Point leading to the ocean. Guest moorings are available for boaters.
Best known for its elevated cuisine, the Crocker House serves a gourmet breakfast daily (exclusive to inn guests) and opens to the public for dinner on weekends with reservations. Enjoy handcrafted entrees, house-made bread, soups, and desserts from our newly expanded 2022 kitchen. Dine in one of two intimate dining rooms or enjoy cocktails and appetizers outdoors on the stone patio, weather permitting. The overall space is definitely rustic. Staff is very friendly and the breakfast we had was tasty. Lots of parking for the most part, except at dinner time when the restaurant is open. The one issue we had was we stayed in the carriage house. Which you cannot lock the main door too which is fine if the front desk tells you that. Unfortunately they didn’t tell us and we were locked out for about 30m till we figured out a way into the space. There is no night staff at all so you are on your own if something happens at night. There is no number to call to get assistance.
