The surrounding area Our Ostseeglück complex is located in Gollendorf, a small farming village in the southwest of the island. Its immediate proximity to the Baltic Sea dike (approx. 800 m) offers an ideal starting point for walks and bike rides to the neighboring towns and sailing harbors of Orth and Lemkenhafen. Gollendorf Bay is also a perfect shallow water area for kitesurfers, surfers, and stand-up paddleboarders, making it particularly suitable for beginners. Kitesurfing, surfing, and boating schools and rentals are located in Orth, Lemkenhafen, and Gold. Shops, doctors, and a pharmacy can be found in Petersdorf, just 3 km away. Beaches nearby include Püttsee, Bojendorf, Wallnau, Flügger Strand, Gold, and many more. The quiet, rural, and waterfront location is also ideal for dog owners.
