Settle into Hansel and Gretel, a spacious 1-bath cabin nestled on 86 acres of private Southern Indiana woodland, just minutes from Patoka Lake and Hoosier National Forest. Perfect for families or groups, this cabin offers a cozy loft with 2 queen beds upstairs, and a fully equipped main floor. The property also features fun community amenities for all ages — cornhole, horseshoes, hiking trails, and more.

Indoor Living: Flat-screen cable TV, board games, books, ceiling fans, electric heat, decorative fireplace
Kitchen: Fridge, stove/oven, microwave, toaster, single-serve coffee maker with K-Cups, cooking basics, dishware, flatware, spices
Outdoor & Community Amenities:
Large front deck with rocking chairs, fire pit (firewood provided), charcoal grill (charcoal provided)
Catch & release pond, playground, swings, horseshoes, football goals
Bob’s Activity Barn with picnic tables, cornhole, board games
Gazebo with picnic tables, community fire pit, hiking trails

This is a true rustic cabin, deep in the woods on a private 86-acre property — it’s not a hotel, and that’s the charm! Enjoy dark, star-filled nights perfect for stargazing, and the quiet of nature. Other cabins are on-site but spaced for privacy. Stairs are required to access the loft, and 4WD/AWD is recommended in bad weather. WiFi is spotty, making this an ideal escape to unplug.

Great stay and very relaxing. Instructions from Nathan were very good as we got there past midnight.

We arrived late on our first night with a minor issue that we reached out to Nathan about. I did not expect a response that night, but he replied quickly and came up with a solution to the issue. Very relaxing weekend and beautiful property to visit.
