About this lodge
Magical upstate cottage on 2 acres in the heart of Woodstock. Pvt heated saline pool & beautifully landscaped gardens w/ fountains & fire-pit.The MB features a wall of windows to the secluded second deck w/ a second loft bedroom upstairs. The separate artist studio has a large desk and queen-sized bed for extra guests. A raised bluestone pond keeps the frogs happy, while baby birds nest in the dramatic birdhouse sculpture. Close to hiking, restaurants & stores.
The space
The house has two bedrooms (a primary bedroom with a bathroom) and a loft bedroom (with views of Overlook Mountain) up a staircase on the other side of the house. The stair could be tricky for very young children.
The saline pool and artist/writing studio is up a stone staircase from the house (the stairs may not be suitable for very young children).
The bathroom for the house is attached to the primary bedroom (but can also be accessed from the hallway).
Guest access
The entire cottage plus artist studio and pool.
Other things to note
Pool is seasonal Memorial Day thru LD weekend. Guests are required to sign a pool waiver prior to arrival. The pool is heated guests are responsible for pool heat (a deposit is taken). The pool area gets full midday sun so little heat is required in the summer months.
