About this house rental
Cocoonr is offering this charming farmhouse for rent in Livarot, in a pretty hamlet. It has a floor area of 175 m² and can accommodate up to 6 guests. It comprises a lovely 50 m² living room, a fully fitted kitchen, three beautiful bedrooms, a bathroom (with shower), and you can enjoy a garden of around 4,000 m². Wi-Fi is included – we’re just waiting for you!
This house is available for medium- and long-term lets; please do not hesitate to enquire.
The property is laid out as follows:
On the ground floor:
- A 50 m² living area with a lounge area (sofa, armchair) and a dining area
- A fully equipped kitchen including: electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, blender, hob…
- A bathroom with shower and WC
Upstairs:
- Bedroom 1: with 1 double bed (140×190)
- Bedroom 2: with 1 queen-size bed (160×200)
- Bedroom 3: with 2 single beds and a workspace
- An adjoining games room with a lounge area (TV, sofa)
- A separate toilet and washbasin
For even greater comfort, the owners provide the following additional facilities: barbecue, washing machine, cot, a high chair, 2 booster seats for children over 3 years old, games for all ages, a Nordnet Wi-Fi hotspot and Wi-Fi 7.
Outdoors:
- Large enclosed garden divided into two areas:
Around the house (2,000 m²): shrubs, flowers, well-maintained lawn, three terraces including a porch, garden furniture (tables, benches)
Small adjoining grassy area (2,000 m²): perfect for playing, reading, picnicking or having a peaceful nap
- A games room (separate from the main building) with a table tennis table and a games corner
The house is ideally situated in Livarot, in very pleasant surroundings. You’ll find all the essential shops nearby, as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars and a market… A car is essential to make the most of the surrounding area.
Activities:
- Simply relax: an ideal haven of peace for doing nothing — a nap in a hammock, a glass of cider, birdsong, views over the pastures… and occasionally a tractor in the distance.
- The seaside just 40 minutes away: Deauville, Cabourg, the D-Day beaches — seaside leisure, culture and history just a short drive away, without the crowds.
- A heritage stretching back a thousand years: Castles, Norman manor houses, churches, monasteries… The entire history of the Dukes of Normandy right up to the present day, waiting to be explored.
- Bountiful natural surroundings: rolling bocage, houses built from local materials, walking trails, farmers’ markets, renowned gardens (including a rare Blue Cedar in our own garden).
- Sports activities for everyone: cycling (bike rack provided), running, horse riding, hiking, and on the coast: kitesurfing, beach, sailing.
- A vibrant local cultural scene: friendly cafés in Livarot, festivals, concerts and exhibitions throughout the Pays d’Auge.
- Easy-to-reach towns: Le Havre (museums and modern architecture), Caen (William the Conqueror’s castle), perfect for cultural outings.

If you choose to come by car, you can park directly in the house’s private car park (up to 3 vehicles).

- Nearest airport: Caen, approximately 60 km away

- Bed linen and towels are available on request; please order these from the concierge service before your stay.
