    Really convenient to check in and check out. Neat and clean and modern facility for the whole family. It is a shame that there is no elevator from the Ground to first floor therefore you have to lift your heavy luggage up to the elevator. The area where the hotel is located is not very nice or clean either. However, the actual stay is really good, and had everything we needed and extras.

    The hotel stay is perfect for families or groups. Hotel is newly renovated, all fixtures, beddings and furnitures are newly built. Room is good for 6 to 10pax. Perfect if you have kids and many luggage. Enough space to walk around the room. Has a small dining table. Microwave. Ref. Complete toiletries, tissue, towels etc. Free espresso coffee, ice, hot and cold water anytime at the lobby. Hotel is self check in. You rarely see a staff but everything is easy to understand. You can also leave your luggage in their locker area at the lobby. Hotel facade is quite confusing, though. You will not easily see the hotel entrance. You need to take the small elevator to go to the hotel lobby located at the 3rd floor. Nearby establishments are not very impressive because it is located in a marketplace area surrounded by small stores selling different kinds of stuff. But you can find small cafes and simple restaurants nearby. 10min walk to the nearest train station.

    If you’re travelling with friends or family and can stay/sleep together in one family room, this place is perfect. It has two bathrooms/toilets. It’s quite far from the City Center and the area is more of a market place with wholesaler stores for hardwares, lighting fixtures, clothing accessories. I find the area safe for travellers. Very near the subway train station. The only downside is that you’re on your own. There are no hotel staff present that you can immediately talk to or get help from.

    We are travelers from Malaysia 🇲🇾 and had a pleasant stay at Monthliv Gwangjang Market Hotel Stay. The hotel is quite new ✨ and everything feels clean and modern. The room was comfortable and well-equipped with floor heating, air conditioning, a microwave, and a freezer — very convenient, especially during the cold weather in Seoul ❄️. The location is excellent 📍 — close to the subway station, convenience stores, and just a short walk to Gwangjang Market. There are also many good restaurants nearby 🍜. Even though it’s in a central area, the neighborhood is surprisingly quiet at night, so we could rest well 🌙. The hotel also provides a shared kitchen and laundry room, which is helpful for longer stays. A few things to note: there is no daily housekeeping service during the stay, so guests need to manage the room themselves. Additionally, if you do not request an extra bed, the hotel may not be able to provide extra pillows. It wasn’t a major issue for us, but it’s good to be aware before booking.
