About this house rental
Nestled along the breathtaking Sognefjord in Norway, Lærdal Holiday and Leisure Park is a vibrant destination that blends natural beauty with a wide array of activities. Located in the charming town of Lærdalsøyri, the park offers a unique mix of tradition, culture, and modern leisure. From the scenic fjord views to the exciting Motorikpark™—Scandinavia’s first of its kind—visitors can enjoy everything from climbing walls and pedal go-karts to live performances at the Lærdal Show Theater, which hosts tribute acts like Elvis and Tina Turner. The park is ideal for families with children, couples, and active travelers of all ages. With hiking trails, biking routes, and cultural landmarks like the Borgund Stave Church and the Norwegian Wild Salmon Centre nearby, there’s something for everyone. For those looking to explore the waters, please note that while fishing is a popular pastime, it is permitted only in the fjord and is strictly prohibited in the Lærdalselva River. Additionally, there are no on-site rentals for boats, kayaks, or SUPs. The best time to visit is between May and September, when the weather is mild and most attractions are open. While the park is a hub for activity, please keep in mind that electric bike rentals and mini-golf are not available on-site. Guests can enjoy local cuisine at the restaurant Strandsitjaren, which opens its season in late March, offering a cozy spot to relax after a day of adventure. Accommodation options cater to a variety of preferences and budgets. Guests can choose from well-equipped cabins (for 2 to 7 people), modern apartments ideal for couples or small families, and compact economy rooms with private bathrooms. All units include free Wi-Fi, and most feature kitchens and private facilities, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay in the heart of Norway’s fjord country.
