One of the best features of this home is its convenient Mena location. You are close to everyday necessities while still having quick access to many of the outdoor attractions that bring visitors to the area. This is an in-town home, not a secluded cabin. Enjoy Mena and the surrounding Ouachita Mountains without adding extra driving to your day. After exploring the trails, lakes and scenic areas, you can be back in town with restaurants, groceries, shopping and everyday conveniences close by.
Approx distance to the best places:
• Ward Lake and its expanding trail system are about 2 miles away
• Talimena Scenic Drive is less than 2 miles from the house
• Downtown Mena shopping and restaurants: 2 to 3 blocks away • Janssen Park is just 2 blocks away
• University of Arkansas Rich Mountain is conveniently located approximately 1.5 miles away
• Wolf Pen Gap ATV trails are an easy drive~ approx 15 miles

The property has a gravel driveway with on-site parking. The driveway entrance does bump over a small curb so we recommend entering and exiting slowly, particularly with larger vehicles.

The Corner House is a historic Mena home that has been updated for today’s guests while keeping the character of an older home.
Because of its convenient in-town location, guests may occasionally hear normal neighborhood or nearby train noise. We provide noise machines in the bedrooms, along with blackout/noise-muffling curtains, for added comfort.
The kitchen includes a basic amenities for cooking, and include a crock pot, toaster, microwave, oven/stove and refrigerator.
The home accommodates up to 6 guests, although groups of 4 to 5 will have the most room to spread out comfortably.

The home was so quaint and lovely. You could really feel the love of the home in how it was cared for. Knowing this home had been in the family for 4 Generations is amazing! The upgrades to the home make it feel welcoming and comfortable without losing any of the old charm in its layout. Our girls loved the park that is a short drive (with young ones) or an easy walk with older children! The home is also right next to downtown and its shopping area. The host is very responsive and quick with her messages to questions. I Absolutely recommend this house!!
