We really enjoyed our stay here. Facilities are new and nice. Would definitely revisit next time if we come back to Mammoth.

We yearly go to Mammoth Lakes / Eastern Sierra Nevada and I was so excited that there’s a new hotel in the town. Our one night stay was average and somehow disappointed Pros 1. Check in was a breeze and the kind lady in the reception fortunately had checked us in at 2:45 pm on a Saturday. Our room was not ready so she immediately found a room for us in second floor 2. New hotel, impeccable and very modern room. Enormous attention to details such as plenty of wall hooks, modern lighting and ambience, modern art and decor, and very spacious and comfortable bed and room layout in general 3. I’m a certified germaphobe and it was impressively clean from bathroom to carpet to fridge and microwave. Smells clean as well 4. Centrally located next to Westin and the Village Cons 1. I booked this stay thru Agoda and it clearly stated in the receipt that taxes and fees were included. In the hotel’s website, I know for a fact that parking fee is NOT INCLUDED so at least I was aware but I was just surprised that aside from the paid valet parking, there’s CA assessment fee and amenities fee. Most likely it’s a disclaimer in website but why not INCLUDE ALL THOSE FEES in the final price of the stay so as not to surprise us. That felt like robbing us and not being transparent at all. There’s a lot to love in this hotel and even in fine print everything seems complimentary but there’s amenity fee. If it’s included in the price at least we know the true value. On the other hand, I did enjoy the sauna and pool and the gym, and even the complimentary laundry which included the detergent and dryer sheets. So I do recommend to include that amenity fee in the final price or it would not be true complimentary amenities but “included in the price” Also, the complimentary bikes were inadequate in number compared to volume of guests and not all of us have that opportunity so I suggest having a time limit for guests borrowing the bike so other guests can experience it well. We do have our own mountain bikes but would like to try the e-bikes in more steep bike trails 2. Valet parking fee should be included. Paid almost 400 USD including the additional fees for a night, understandably because it was a weekend but it does not do justice as I was told that when I need something from the car they will take the car for me but they ended up telling me to go to my own car when I need to take something. Also, pls have an option to park our own car or just remove the valet services as i hate inconveniencing others and it takes more time to bring back our car. I don’t understand why there’s a need for valet service in this mountain community where people come here to relax and commune with nature not to go to Oscars 3. Buffet breakfast has generous seating but lacking space in the main serving area. Lot of traffic and inadequate flow for people to take their food. It seems like they’re understaffed and when it says 7 am, it should be ready by then but that was not the case. At 7 am, the good guy was still placing the labels and serving ware and guests ended up piling in the buffet area. Not much to desire on the breakfast selection either and I had high hopes as I have seen in the website some promising menu but alas, it’s mostly like complimentary breakfast we can get from Holiday Inn. The breakfast potatoes though were a delight but in general, none can beat international buffet breakfast scene Overall, for the value we paid, it felt like a robbery, would I come back again? Yes most likely as I believe there’s a room for improvement to this new hotel, not even a year in operation and hopefully they would take into consideration our suggestions and recommendation and maintain the cleanliness of the room and not charge us a 5 star price for a 3 star amenities and services

Lovely modern hotel right by the village. The breakfast is excellent. Rooms are modern and well equipped, plenty of sockets and both USB b and c charging.

Our room had several problems when we arrived. After the third maintenance visit he said we should have never been assigned this room as the toilet and ac were not working. Before thst I asked for another room and the manager Kennedy said no, they were all booked. Its funny they were all booked and online they had numerous room optioms available. Besides that there were still more issues that came up. Also the not free breakfast is not good as it is a buffet and no a la cart options, just gross runny eggs and a few other items. Management really needs to hire service orientated people with empathy and follow up skills and the hotel would be a great 4 star. Valet guys were great and the poor girls who had to bus tables alone with entire hotel getting breakfast I felt sad for her but was doing a great job.
