Luxury Ocean Views Apt 1208

The room was great everything is updated and beautiful and the view was great as well, however the name of the place has “resort in it”, but it is more of an apartment building, there aren’t really any amenities, there is a pool and that’s about it. Also, there are only 2 elevators for the entire building including 29 floors, there is a daily “peak time” where the elevators have specific stops that will not go to your floor even when you press the button. This caused a huge wait and a walk, down 12 flights of stairs for my pregnant fiancé. On top of this there was an $30 per night valet charge and the valet doesn’t always bring your car!! Twice we called for the car and “there were no valet drivers available” at 11am!! We waited over 20 minutes just to get the car once, and then the elevator took an additional 10 minutes just to come to the floor with enough room in it making it a 30 minute trip just to get back to the room holding heavy bags. Overall the room is nice but the valet takes super long and won’t always bring you your car, and no you cannot get it yourself. The elevators are a huge challenge and if you get a high floor number you’re going to be in for a long walk down at times, I even see a woman pushing her stroller down the staircase with her child from above the 12th floor down due to this. The cost for late checkout was not expensive so that was nice and the area is great around the hotel, not super far from the beach and there is a shuttle that can take you.
