Great location and an incredible vibe. The Bywater district is beautiful and eclectic. The Mid-century modern look is cool.
I had no real issues with the property except parking but that’s just New Orleans all over.

The rooms are comfortable. The pool and hot tub are a great place to relax and work on evening out your tan (clothing optional pool for the win). Depending on the day, the pool deck can be busy - but that just means more people to talk to about what things to see the next day. The staff are helpful and friendly, and I have to commend them on not tolerating negative attitudes and behavior. The Bywater is a quieter neighborhood, so you can still get a good night's sleep before venturing back out the next day!
The Bywater is a little way outside of the French Quarter. If you're looking to spend a lot of time around Canal and Bourbon, you'll need to be prepared to rideshare or enjoy a nice walk along Crescent Park to get downtown. This isn't a negative on the Railyard, just something to keep in mind. Some people find the occasional train a distraction, but I think it adds to the experience.

Everything was very clean. Staff was attentive.
Train horns went off all night and kept us awake. There were no signs saying where clothing was optional or required. Instead, you get a 10 page manual on your bed when you arrive.
