The Retreat : Beachfront View + Parking

We had an amazing stay at The Retreat! The location is absolutely unbeatable, directly across from Bondi Beach with stunning ocean views right from the apartment. Sitting on the terrace watching the waves and sunrise in the morning was easily the highlight of our trip. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and having free parking in Bondi was such a huge bonus. We also loved the outdoor seating area and BBQ setup which made it perfect for enjoying the beachfront atmosphere. One thing that really stood out was how convenient everything was. Cafes, restaurants, shops, and public transport were all just a short walk away, yet the apartment still felt peaceful and private. The easy ground-floor access was also very convenient. Communication with the hosts was excellent from start to finish, and check-in was simple and stress-free. This place truly gives you the full Bondi experience with beautiful views, beachside living, and a fantastic location. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sydney!

Location, location, location! An the view!!!

The Location is unreal. Watched the waves all day! Great apartment for our little dog too, the outdoor area is ground floor and easy to access. There is free onsite parking, it's uncovered so was no problem for our camper SUV with roofracks. Key check in was all really easy. Hosts are super nice & quick with answers. The building is an older style but we found it great value for Bondi.

The property had the perfect location with stunning views of Bondi beach.

It was quite old and run down, some parts of the building had odours, the bathroom had mold spots and the shower sprayed straight out the shower screen. The bedding was ordinary, with the main bedroom being a mattress on the floor. The shutters were also broken and taped shut which didn’t allow us to let any natural light or ventilation in.
