    I initially had booked 2 nights but extended for about a week. Getting here is definitely an adventure. Having a scooter isn’t optional, it’s an absolute must, and you really need to be confident riding it. The steep, rugged road up to the hostel isn’t for the faint of heart, but honestly, that was my favorite part. Keep in mind that it sits well outside the main hub of Koh Tao, completely away from the crowds, which is ideal if you’re looking for peace and quiet. The volunteers are really friendly and helpful if you need anything. Everyday everybody sits together for breakfast (yes, on the house) and there is community feel which I didn’t get in any other hostel on the island.

    What a hidden gem, the journey here is worth it. We managed the road in fine and have only been using scooter for a few months. Curtis and his staff are excellent and food served is delicious and the family style meals are a great idea to bring all guests together to share stories and experiences. View is amazing and huge chill out area after a busy day. Would recommend

    If you're like me and would rather be surrounded by green rather than grey, and hear cicadas and birds rather than traffic and partygoers, then this is on point. They are not a hotel, particulqrly with their facilities and operations, but the tent was perfectly clean and comfortable, and I enjoyed the more raw aspects of a camping getaway.
