Stylish Detached Studio, Banstead with off street Parking

The property is small but nice and modern, well decorated and clean. It has a proper kitchen, with breakfast bar, and a shower room with plenty of room for all your toiletries, which is always a big plus. It's only a 3-minute drive to Banstead High Street and has parking right outside. Quite expensive compared to other places we've stayed near Banstead, but I would stay here again.

Just a few minor improvements would give it a 10/10 - the sofa was very small and uncomfortable (maybe a smaller wardrobe and bigger sofa would have been better), the bed only had access from one side and no bedside table (but I'm not sure how you'd get a bed in any other way), the listing said complimentary toiletries but there was no gel/soap in the shower. There was no tea towel, there seemed to be a lot of crockery/cutlery missing (there were 4 of some things but only 2 or 3 of others - although it only sleeps 2, it's always nice to have spares so you don't have to keep washing up!), the area outside looked uncared for with lots of weeds. However, these are all minor things, most of which are easily rectified.

The previous occupants had not washed up very well. But the washing up liquid did not froth well 2 of the mugs were cracked or chipped

Lack of information re operation of room heaters; very low water pressure; no electricity during my last night and morning of departure.

Parking Fan very useful in this hot weather Tea, coffee, sugar and milk provided

Small 4'6 bed, could have fitted a 5' bed in the room Due to hot weather I removed duvet cover from the duvet to discover a very badly stained/unhygenic duvet - no excuse for this! Cleanliness could be improved - dirty floor, swept but not washed, our feet were dirty after walking on it. Mugs not clean Low water pressure, because of this toilet would not always refill after flushing. Not a very welcoming entrance/patio area due to weeds. Wall clock not working and one of the electric sockets by the bed not working. Most of these problems have been mentioned by previous guests but not rectfied - Why?
