One bedroom unit for corporate stays & travellers

Clean but fairly basic inside. The kitchen space was otherwise good with alfoil, cling wrap, paper towel, filter coffee, sugar, etc but the only tea bags are masala flavoured. Why? Why not also put content labels on the multiple cupboards and drawers; as the best stays do? The better to best stays also supply at least one and ideally two, suitcase stands. None here. We travel the world for approx 100 nights / year; so we get to experience the best and those occasionally with opportunities for improvement; such as here. The shared use washing machine and clothes drier, WAS a key reason we booked this stay. I can now see why some others only give average reviews of this stay. A Sobeys supermarket is helpfully nearby. If you fuel up there you will get a docket for a small discount later on groceries.

I had trouble getting the lock box open. I had to then text the male host who replied that apparently there is some “special” use of the # or * buttons that may also be required. Why so complex? And if potentially so, then give better arrival instructions. The front door, outside mat is (permanently?) wet and is quite filthy; so your first step inside can make foot marks on the floor. Why not replace this and get a more wet weather friendly option? There is no oven, so it is NOT a “full” kitchen as the PR summary might have you believe; but only has a single pot, portable hot plate and a huge microwave that is not a convection heating model. Why? The bed was comfy but the 4 pillows supplied on the bed are very thin. There are useful bedside tables + lights and the overall room lighting in the stay was good. The bath towels are quite thin and there is a shower over a bath, with a plastic shower curtain. This space could be easily heated; which was great. One of the towel rails though there was loose on the wall on our arrival. There are our no security screens on any of the external windows; with bush land behind. One of the owner’s cars (a Honda) was always not parked on the driveway far enough forward to make it easier for us to get in and out with our own car. Why? The wi-fi access code as printed and displayed up on a kitchen cupboard is incorrect, which after fiddling around with; we worked out the simple spelling mistake. Again, another frustration with this stay.

The apartment was very clean and well stocked. There is also a hairdryer which is awesome. Great location in a quiet area. Very close to stores and bank. We loved our time spent here.
