Property was honestly one of the best I’ve booked in years, very clean and the host was very welcoming. Definitely recommend others to book.

We loved the cosy sofa and working Tv wifi was great just needs a usb plug which was no problem at all floor and bathroom was clean they also provided bathroom amenities and kitchen amenities bed was nice and cosy and the provided heater did its job decently but overall didn’t affect our stay in a negative light this has been my second stay and it only got better than the last no bad words to say and the owner was very respectful and responsive always quick to solve any minor issues and was very hospitable will definitely be coming back in the future

Bed was very comfortable, rooms were spacious, and large windows let in a lot of natural light keeping it bright

Entrance - communal area so probably can't do much, but was not clean or inviting. Made me wonder what on earth I had booked. Bedroom - had a single mattress and bedding against wall in corner? Be better just adding small single bed if it's to encourage families. Table lamp didn't work, no batteries in it. Bathroom - needs couple maintenance jobs to keep it immaculate, cupboard door hanging off hinge, if not fixed will put extra strain on bottom hinge and can break. Half the shower door missing so floor got very wet. Used mop to clean up but if people don't could damage floor. The bathroom has been nicely done, so a couple maintenance jobs will keep it that way. Take own towels, one was left but felt damp, unsure if was for us or left from cleaning, luckily we had our own. Living room/kitchen - didn't feel like carpet was clean, found long black hair (not ours). Sofa was comfy, but old. Only place sofa can go is against wall, difficult to watch TV, TV ideally could do with being on an arm. Also had to text for WiFi info to get TV to work, maybe a small 'how to' list with this info could help. Full oven, but, no fridge to store food, never stayed in an apartment with no fridge before! Lack of cooking utensils, just salad servers by pots (no salad bowl) so could do with a spatula, spoon, couple of sharp knives? Tap on kitchen sink a bit loose, needs tightening up, but lovely hot water once we realised the water heater needed turning up. Again had battery operated table lamp in living room, didn't work, but is right next to a plug so get a normal plug in? Apartment is above a gym, and you do hear music from there, starts early, if a light sleeper take ear plugs. Brierfield is not a place to visit, but we used as a base to explore nearby areas. It is not a luxury apartment as it has been named, but a budget apartment.
