Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. We booked our stay specifically because the hotel was hosting the Ona Sadyotsavam Sadya, and unfortunately, both the stay and the event left us frustrated.
For a 4-star property in Dubai, we were surprised that only two small bottles of water were provided and that additional bottles were chargeable. Given the climate here, this felt very disappointing and far below what we expected from a property of this category.
We also paid AED 45 per person for the Ona Sadyotsavam. Unfortunately, the event was very poorly organized. There did not appear to be a proper organizer or adequate coordination, and the overall experience lacked professionalism. We were fortunate to eventually get the food, but the process was stressful and frustrating.
What made the experience even worse was the issue with the late checkout. The delay was connected to the hotel's own event arrangements, yet we were still charged for the late checkout. After an already exhausting experience, this was extremely disappointing.
We tried contacting the hotel afterward through calls and messages, but no one has responded so far. At the very least, we expected someone from the management team to acknowledge our concerns or offer a simple apology.
Overall, what was supposed to be a nice day and a pleasant hotel experience ended with us leaving tired, frustrated, and disappointed. For a hotel presenting itself as a 4-star property, we expected much better organization, professionalism, customer service, and accountability.
