Koselig ved Fjorden - Vangsnes

Et skønt sted til et kort ophold. Selve Vangsnæs har ikke meget at byde på for en turist, men lejligheden var meget velindrettet og der manglede INTET! Og fra stedet en fin udsigt til fjorden og let adgang til færgerne på fjorden.

Heaven! I was on a campervan tour in cold May and needed a night of luxury and comfort and this is exactly what I found here. Amazing view on the Sognefjord, but peaceful and quiet, extremely equipped kitchen, best shower I had in Norway and best sleep because of the bed and bedroom that can be completely dark. Also did my laundry with the machine and there was ample space to hang everything to dry. There is a nice outside area that you can add to the booking. A private garden with swimming pool/hot tub/trampoline/ lounge corner with big gas BBQ, which I unfortunately could not use because of the weather conditions. Located directly at the ferry that goes to the busier northern side of the fjord. I could park my van (6m) on the property. It looks like the owner is making a second cottage on the same grounds which would make this a perfect place to stay if you have like 2-3 kids that are already a bit bigger. In stayed only one night but this is a perfect spot for multiple days to go to the different spots in the Sognefjord but also Naerefjord (came from Gudvangen through the Tunnels towards Kaupanger, along the north rim to Balestrand and then crossed again.)

Marcin is a very friendly host. The appartment has everything you need and is very clean. There is a parking spot next to the apartment available. The environment is very beautiful and Marcin has a lot of tips for activities to do in the area. The ferry is also nearby, which makes it easy to travel through the fjords. Definitely worth a visit!
