The apartment is located just inside the medina (old Arabic city). It faces onto an internal courtyard shared behind several other apartments. The interiors were spotlessly clean. The other residents are a mix of retirees and young families. Although centrally located, and the walls are paper thin, the place was quiet at night.
Obtaining parking in a the nearby public garage is a major challenge, particularly over weekends. You may need to park 1-2 km away, as we did, and then drag your luggage to the apartment on the cobbled streets. There is no prospect of on-street parking. The alleyways are simply too narrow.
The apartment kitchen is too small to be practicable: no toaster, only two burners on the electric stove, no oven, and no dishwasher.

L’emplacement et la réactivité du loueur qui nous a apporté une cinquième chaise et des cintres dans l’après-midi du 24 décembre
L’équipement - à parfaire encore mais nous étions les premiers locataires et je suis sûre que le loueur va tenir compte des suggestions d’amélioration.
