Apartment with chance to see Aurora at city center

Amazing Property and Very easy to talk to the owner! Owner Also gives info if Northern lights can be seen which was a plus!

The location is great, within walking distance of the main area of Rovaniemi’s city centre. The apartment is simple and bright, with large windows overlooking the city and the nearby park.

The apartment felt somewhat unfinished and not as clean as we would expect. Since we only stayed for one night, we didn’t make a big issue of it. That said, if we had stayed longer, we would definitely have raised these concerns with the host. It also felt as though we were among the first guests, as some lighting was not yet installed, and plates and cutlery seemed never to have been used before, as some still had stickers on.

Very close to the city centre, shops. The apartment was very well equiped, utensils for the kitchen. The instructions to reach the place were easy to follow, the owner was very helpful. It was quiet, the bed was confortabile. We liked it, would stay there again.

This is an excellent location for young kids - view from the apartment is the local park and Naava Cafe. The park has a sledding hill, very popular with kids and grownups! There's also a lovely playground. Naava Cafe offers ice skating, plus the usual warm beverages. All of this just 2 minutes from your door, it is excellent. Location is excellent for the #8 bus to Santa Claus Village, the bus stop is just outside, viewable from apartment window. 5 minute walk to town centre with all the shops and bars and restaurants, including a 24-hour supermarket. Arkitum museum/science centre is a 10-15 minute walk, we really enjoyed going there. Hosts sent us a message when Auora were visible so we went out to look for them. (We didn't see them in the end, but we loved the adventure and were super grateful that the hosts were kind enough to think of us!) Access to the building is excellent, no keys needed which really made it easy and stress-free for us. The building is very clean and having the lift is excellent. The apartment was clean, and well supplied with basics like toilet roll, shampoo, shower gel, dishwasher tabs, all very thoughtful. Bedroom was comfortable, sofa bed also fine for kids, they enjoyed it. WiFi good and very easy to access. Plenty of storage space throughout. And kitchen very good for basic cooking, with large pot and several pans and a pizza baking tray. Good size fridge and freezer too, everything you need is there. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back. I'd definitely recommend this apartment, the location was just stellar and so convenient for our needs.
