The employees were exceptional

It's a newly done property owned and run by the husband-and-wife duo Aseem and Neetu. Both of them come with long experience in the hospitality industry and it shows. All the staff are well trained and extremely helpful. All the fittings in the rooms are of high quality, the food in the restaurant is very homely and excellent coffee. We stayed with our family of 4 for 4 nights, and left with a very pleasant memory.

There is a smell of cow dung from the adjacent property, which is completely out of place.

The people who run Rampour are it's asset and I hope they remain this way. They were extremely helpful starting with the manager Ajay. The food was very good too.

The location is difficult to reach, given Rishikesh's infrastructure and facilities. It took us 2 hours to reach the hotel from Nepali Farms because of the traffic. If the hotel can make some arrangements regarding pickups, can be very helpful.

We recently stayed at this property in Rishikesh and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the food was genuinely good and clearly prepared with care. The owner was also very warm and approachable, always around, even during breakfast, making an effort to interact with guests and ensure everyone was comfortable. That personal touch is something we truly appreciated. We also enjoyed browsing and purchasing sarees from the owner’s boutique collection, which was a lovely and unique addition to the stay. However, the room we were allotted was a bit disappointing. It had no real view, and unfortunately overlooked an area which was not pleasant and took away from the overall experience, especially in a place like Rishikesh where one expects more serene surroundings. What made this harder to overlook was that the pricing was the same as other rooms that seemed to offer better views. Overall, while the hospitality and food were definite highlights, better room allocation and attention to the surroundings would significantly improve the guest experience.
