IronHouse Taganga Apartasuite

Sonia's apartment had everything I needed to live comfortably in Taganga. I came for a week but ended up staying for almost three. She was a wonderful host, respecting my privacy but available whenever I needed local advice and even took care of me when I was sick. The kitchen is well equipped, I was able to work well at the desk with a great internet connection, and I loved the hammock inside the room. There is a beautiful view from the terrace where you can watch the sun set. The garden has some lovely plants including cascades of bougainvillea over the dining table and a palo santo tree.

My sleep was often interrupted by the dog and cockrels, but this is typical of Colombia! It is still more quiet than elsewhere in Taganga, being located right at the back of the community at the foot of the bosque seco tropical.
