Could be amazing with just a few minor changes

Beautiful cottage. Conformable bed set over 3 floors. Beautiful location. Dog friendly. the shower in the master ensuit was the best shower iv ever used.

Heating had a mind of its own if you can find the thermostat. Only enough fire wood for 1 night not the 2 nights we stayed. Could be cleaner behind tv,s and cabinet full of cobwebs.

Great location, quiet and tranquil. really spacious and had a home from home feel.

On first impressions it seemed clean but was quite dusty in corners or behind things. I doubt this is the hosts fault and nothing that isn’t easily fixed.

Beautiful house, comfy beds, hot showers, luxurious baths and log burner 😊

The beds and showers were excellent!

Our dog was not allowed in the bedrooms…fair enough. Not my house, so I wouldn’t argue. But tricky to let her wander as there was no door to stop her getting down to the bedrooms. I was constantly paranoid my kids had left their bedroom door open and the dog was in where she shouldn’t be. So I was constantly keeping any eye on her, made it difficult to relax unless she was locked in one room. I would go back here, just not with my dog, even though she is a very well behaved dog.

Super cottage. Excellent, quiet location.

lovely cottage, super Aga oven & the rooms in the basement were fab, the kids loved them! Main bedroom was spacious. All decor was lovely & well thought out.

Needs an outside light! It was dark when we got there & a bit tricky to find the keys & open the door.

A beautiful cottage but maybe hire new cleaners

It was a little on the grubby side and there were a few things that needed fixing. - the door handle and a couple of the door covering rods

Very well located and parking facility is easy for loading and unloading. Decor amazing.

The property is decorated superbly and the interior is excellent, kitchen and bathrooms. For dog walkers, quite a few interesting dog walking routes, specifically loved the walk by the river.

It is a little dark, perhaps a curtain on the rear patio doors for privacy and stepping stone slabs across the grass from car park. Clearer parking bays and entrance signs to the cottage would assist, but the parking is very close to the property which is easy as you get! The location is sublime too.
