The Old House with Heated Pool, BBQ, Fireplace

So many things...... This place is wonderful!!! It is massive and very spacious, especially for the two of us (sleeps 6 or 7, I think) We had a rest day on the trail, so treated ourselves to a bit of luxury! The place is spotlessly clean and well equipped (apart from no kettle?) It has a large tv that you can access all the major platforms if you have an account. The small heated pool (more of a large hot tub), is excellent and appreciated at the end of a long days hike. I found bed comfortable, wife found it a bit soft, so slept in second bedroom with a firmer mattress. The place is very self contained, very quiet and peaceful.

These things were tiny compared to how fantastic property was on the whole, but the outside shower did not work for us. We contacted owner and tried a few things but couldn't get it to work for us. He was going to get someone to look at it but too short notice for us to benefit. On a similar note, the whole property had no hot water - again this was mentioned to the owner, but we emphasized that this was not a big issue as weather was so hot. For awareness, the old house is a 15 mins walk up a very steep hill from the town centre.

Adoramos tudo, principalmente a piscina.
