The Owlery

A 10 minute walk into town. The fireplace A huge home with big bedrooms. Thoroughly modern. A quintessential Highlands view out the front window--across the water to a lone house perched on the shore on the other side at the base of a hillside hundreds of feet high. In unit washer and dryer. Friendly and informative Michael, the on-site property manager (who provider key pointers to 2 in our group about to climb Ben Nevis). The Ben Nevis Inn and restaurant near the start of the hike, located in a renovated 200 year old farmhouse. Espresso coffee maker. Good food stores in town (Lidl and Morrisons). A good base for day trips.

I liked it all.

Hosts provided excellent instructions. Hosts were easy to contact and very responsive. Property exceeded every expectation. There was nothing that wasn’t thought about by the hosts. Brilliant stay! Brilliant views and amazingly comfortable.

A fantastic week at the Owlery. Amazing house and facilities and the welcome could not have been better. Perfect location for great walks and cycling in the mountains. Plus easy access to restaurants.

Everything is so nice, we love the house, its modern ammenities, its location. The house is very big, very clean and we just love it. Book it if you can.
