The Owlery was spacious, lovely and still cozy (picture fireplace with a motherlode of wood), with all the creature comforts one could want. Beautiful loche and mountain views. Modern kitchen to accommodate gourmands or easy quick meals. Convenient to everything…hiking, yacht club, downtown restaurants, ferries, train, distilleries, museum, castles… The Owlery will be our preferred ‘go to’ for all our future visits to Ft William!

It was a pleasure to stay at this property. With its fantastic location, it was the perfect base to explore all the area has to offer. The Owlery was close to supermarkets, places to eat, Fort William rail station and more …
The property itself has views of Loch Linnhe, is beautifully presented and clean, is a great mix between modern and traditional, with balance between homely and clean without being too ‘sterile’.
From a practical point of view, there is ample off street parking and EV charging, we received a detailed and informative welcome email, there were plenty of clean towels, a wood burner with loads of logs available, outdoor seating areas (upper and lower levels) looking out over the lock, an en suite master bedroom, underfloor heating, and a handy utility room with washer and dryer (to list a few).
My family and I will certainly be back to stay at the Owlery again.
