Holiday Inn Express & Suites Anchorage - Midtown

The service provided by the entire staff, including the front desk team, was outstanding. The cleanliness throughout the entire hotel was excellent. The breakfast offered a great variety of options and was very good. The hotel is new, and our room was spacious, comfortable, modern, and impeccably clean. The location was great. We had a car, but we also walked to downtown, which took about an hour and a half. It was a beautiful and enjoyable walk, and we really liked it. The only disappointment was that the swimming pool was temporarily closed, although it looked absolutely amazing. Overall, I would 100% recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Good, safe location. Took a few mins to drive downtown, but we were convenient to the airport, which was the whole point of choosing this hotel for me. The breakfast was surprisingly good, probably the best included continental I've had in years. Kudos for that!

Our room overlooked the neighboring hotel, which is still being built. Loud construction noise from early in the morning, but I can't really blame the hotel for that... within 6 months that should be done, I'd think, so this note is probably only applicable for summer of 2026.

Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable.

Breakfast took longer to come out one morning and the other morning the breakfast was cold. Also, in the room (fairly brand new facility), there was this stain on the carpet, not sure if it was dried animal poop, but it was uncomfortable to walk around with nothing on my feet.

The breakfast was good, and the lobby was very clean for having people in and out. The staff was amazing and on top of everything. They made me feel very welcome. The room was very nice and tidy.

It would have been nice if there were maybe a water filter in the bedroom to help with the taste, but if you bring bottled water, you are perfectly fine. There are zero complaints, other than that.
