Great location for hiking and for some peace and quiet. This is a terrific escape from hustle and bustle. We didn't use the various hot tubs and saunas but I am sure they are wonderful. Michelle and Rhona gave us great advice about the locale and a day trip to Lismore is a must.

We stayed at the Almanage for one night. Michelle the host was very friendly and welcoming, she had upgraded our room which was a lovely surprise when we arrived. Unfortunately due to us arriving later in the evening and having to leave earlier in the morning we did not get the chance to use the Hot tub or Sauna. Room was beautiful and immaculately clean, there is a lovely lounge you can sit in and relax by the fire, there is a small kitchen which you are welcome to make yourself tea, coffee or enjoy some snacks that are available. There was a good variety to choose from for breakfast which were all healthy foods. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back for a longer period so we can make use of the excellent facilities on offer. Thank you so much Michelle for making us feel so welcome 😊
There was nothing we didn’t like but just a couple of small things would have made it even better. A small bin in the room for rubbish, a box of tissues, some body wash in the shower and a jug of water with glasses in the room would have added just those extra touches.

We couldn't have had a more enjoyable stay. We would have no hesitation in recommending the Almanage.
Absolutely no complaints, had a really lovely experience. Lovely breakfast and the facilities were great. We would recommend it
