L'apartament és molt bonic, et sents com a casa, ben cuidat, net i còmode. La cuina i el pis estan molt ben equipats. Està a dues passes de la fantàstica platja d'Aci Trezza i de la zona de restaurants. Els llits i coixins són perfectes. Tornaria sense cap mena de dubte.

Honest opinion - even though I gave only 7/10 stars, the place is not bad at all. The location is perfect - great views from terrace, the flat was clean, big and spacious. It should be noted the ceiling is low and the apartment is on top floor, so take this into account if you are very tall or have mobility issues. The beds are really comfortable. Plenty parking found on the street or in harbor (payable) or for free on the streets if traffic limitation is not active (out of season). Host was kind and allowed us to enter before check-in time which we really appreciated. Aci Trezza is a great little but lively village and has a daily bus line to Catania. In addition, it's quite close to all the major attractions but you can easily also just stay there and walk around village or nearby Aci Castello all day.

I rated the place only 7 out of 10, but with a bit of improvement it would be 10/10. The problem with apartment was all the little issues. Kitchen was underequipped, no cups, no knife, no cutting board, no salt/pepper which was quite disappointing. In addition, all the pots were useless for induction. Host did bring us one new pot later on that worked, and we bought a knife and salt&pepper on our own. We understand that maybe it is not always like this and the place is more equipped during the season, but it was definitely a hassle for us. Too bad, as the kitchen is otherwise not bad - it has a dishwasher (no tablets though), cleaning equipment, paper towels, big freezer etc... Electric kettle and maybe even a toaster would be nice, though. Next - the AC did not work, so no cooling/heating. Luckily this was not a problem, but was still not something we expected on vacation. We worried initially we'll be cold all the time as it was end of October. The hot water boiler had issues and we were showering with cold water for two days before we figured out you need to open both shower and sink aps for the water to slowly heat up. Some LED lights don't work, some other are a bit "special" and only work if you first turn on another light. And a couple more minor quirks... Host was friendly, however and felt bad about these issues, but we still think more could be done about our problems. The place could be perfect if these issues would not exist and I must say if this does not dissuade you, you will rent a very nice and very enjoyable place to stay.
