Absolutely lovely property with much attention to detail. One of the nicest places we've ever stayed in Portugal, with a stunning outdoor garden and lots of space. The kitchen is super well equipped, and there's two living rooms for you to enjoy -- ample space for an entire family, or some more.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa do Alpendre and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxed home near the beach in Costa da Caparica. The house has been lovingly renovated to offer all modern comforts while fully honoring the original antique charm of this clearly well-loved beach home. This care and attention are evident everywhere: from the original hand-painted tiles adorning the front porch and inner entry hall, to the small, thoughtful details such as the pottery swallows and the heart-shaped ironwork on the front door handle. Throughout the house, you’ll find beautiful antique furniture, original stone thoughtfully integrated beneath the window ledges, and an understated elegance in the furnishings that harmoniously reinforces the home’s timeless character. All bathrooms have been fully renovated and offer modern conveniences, excellent water pressure, and a generously sized hot water boiler. The kitchen is very well equipped, with all essential appliances, large and small, as well as a wide selection of crockery and kitchenware. Across every room, everything comes together to create a welcoming, cozy, and genuinely pleasant living experience. The property owners are truly exceptional. We received outstanding support throughout our stay — they were extremely responsive, considerate, accommodating, and effective. We honestly could not have asked for more. It was a delightful stay, and if we return to Caparica in the future, we will certainly book this property again. Thank you for such a memorable experience!
