Cozy Studios in the Heart of the City of London

The location was excellent, with the Underground just around the corner. Having a kitchen in the apartment was especially useful and made it possible to eat more affordably in such an expensive city. There is also a supermarket with ready-made food and a bakery nearby with sandwiches and salads.

The instructions for the apartment were far tooooo detailed — there was even an instruction for using (!) the kettle. Because of the amount of information, it was difficult to find actually useful details, for example where to take the rubbish. The bathroom fixtures are also quite old; for example, the toilet cistern was constantly leaking. There was also a homeless person sleeping at night in the alley where the entrance to the apartments is located. Another inconvenience was an inspection that arrived unexpectedly. We later found a message from the host about it, but it had been lost among all the other information.

Good location nice place high price buts it’s London city centre everywhere is expensive 🤭

Brilliant location I would come back for another stay

Central location - easy to get to places with Farringdon and Barbican a short walk.

I was arriving on a transatlantic flight and requested check in details in advance while still at home, explaining the situation. I didn't receive a reply. The check in involved uploading passport details as well as a selfie with the passport through a portal which is difficult to navigate on the phone. I got sent check in details just before check in which meant I had to do all of this on roaming, in a public place. It would be much more considerate to request this information ahead of time even if the code for the key is provided just before check in. On top all of this the key wouldn't open the main door easily so I had to call the host for additional instructions. Not a smooth landing. The studio is tiny, in need of a proper clean (e.g. greasy tiles above the cooker, dirty windows, dirty/untidy corridor) and updating (the blinds were broken, chairs peeling, no lights in the building corridor), there is no rubbish bin apart from the small bathroom one. The bed was very uncomfortable. The studio is just above a pub so if you're sensitive to noise it's not for you. Overall, not a great experience.
